Abstract: The purpose of this procedure is to provide a method of standardizing the operation and care necessary to monitor the temperature of an incubator and to provide a means of documentation. The procedure is provided in a format with lines for the signature of the writer and authorizing person, along with a line for the implementation date and can be photocopied for insertion into a pharmacy’s book of standard operating procedures. A form for recording the daily incubator temperatures is also included.
