Home Infusion Basics for the Non-Infusion Pharmacist

Abstract:  When a patient comes into a pharmacy for counseling with an intravenous line in place, it can be intimidating to a pharmacist who hasn’t had any specific training in infusion to answer questions. The purpose of this article is to expand a pharmacist’s knowledge in basic home infusion.
