Abstract: The German Pharmacy Museum is located in Heidelberg, Germany. It was completely remodeled in 1997 and exhibits are now thematically arranged. This article by the Lloyd Scholar at the Loyd Library and Museum in Cincinnati, OH, profiles its exhibits, including the history of pharmacy according to the materials used to prepare medications; the pharmacist’s workplace (shop, workroom and laboratory); thematic displays and the German Apothecary Museum.
