Abstract: Equine Cushing’s syndrome is hyperadrenocorticism that affects all breeds of ponies, horses and donkeys. This discussion focuses on a specific case and covers an overview of the syndrome, treatment, cyproheptadine, the benefits of pergolide, differences between the disease in humans and animals and the use of supportive management and drug therapy for optimal results.
