Abstract
The pharmacist able to communicate information about herbal and/or alternative medicines provides a much-needed service to the public. This article covers issues, counseling considerations, herbs and hospice, the well-established trend of herbs, key components of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 and the herbal twilight zone.
