Abstract:  This brief description features Medicine-on-Time, a medication compliance system that has been very effective in enhancing patient compliance. The system combines computer software and packaging components to allow pharmacists to custom sort and package a patient’s prescription medications into a series of clear dosage cups arranged on a color-coded calendar card and sealed. Medicine-on-Time Plus, another system by the same group, provides a wristwatch that digitally stores patient records and more than 40 days of compliance data, among other things.
