Abstract: Polyethylene glycol is an addition polymer of ethylene oxide and water. This article discusses this group of excipients. Tables provide information regarding physical descriptions of various polyethylene glycols and solubilities of some polyethylene glycols in some commonly used pharmaceutical excipients.
