Abstract:  The purpose of this procedure is to establish a system to evaluate and document the efficiency of an autoclave. The procedure contains lines for the signature of the writer and authorizer and implementation date and can be photocopied for insertion into a pharmacy’s book of standard operating procedures. An Autoclave Validation Form is also included.
