Abstract:  The primary purpose of all information used in health care is to reduce uncertainty for professionals making critical decisions. Over 6,000 articles are published daily in the biomedical literature; an information appliance that delivers high-quality, evidence-based information to pharmacists is vital. Technology needed to support the provision of drug-related, problem-focused pharmacy is available and in need only of integration into operations and business planning of the compounding pharmacy.
