Abstract

Many drugs used in veterinary medicine can be absorbed transdermally to safely produce desired therapeutic plasma concentrations. In this article, the author presents information about methimazole and suggestions for ensuring successful therapy, including a list of monitoring parameters for the efficacy of transdermal methimazole.
