Abstract

The purpose of this procedure is to document how to calibrate a hot plate so that the numbers on the adjustable dial correspond to the temperature of a liquid in the container sitting on the hotplate. A Hot Plate Calibration Log form, suitable for photocopying and using in the pharmacy, is also provided.
