Abstract:  This discussion focuses on source of infection, treatment, general considerations in treating lice infestations, prevention and pediculicides. Sidebars provide information about options for treating head lice, pubic lice and body lice. Sample formulations provided include Malathion 0.5% Topical Lotion, Ivermectin 1% Creme Rinse, Ivermectin 1% Lotion and Head Lice Repellent Spray.
