Case Report: Shingles Triple Cream in the Treatment of Herpes Zoster
Download in electronic PDF format for $75
Abstract: A 54-year-old woman presented with symptoms of rash and fatigue and reported that on the previous day she had a low-grade fever. Her medical history revealed nothing unusual. She had a previous diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux disease, for which she was taking omeprazole, and had taken conjugated estrogens and medroxyprogesterone for several years following a hysterectomy at age 41. Her doctor changed this patient’s treatment after the Women’s Health Initiative Study findings were published. The patient was slightly overweight, though not obese, and active, walking 2 to 3 miles approximately three times weekly for exercise.
