Abstract: The purpose of this procedure is to establish appropriate guidelines and documentation for purchasing chemicals for use in pharmaceutical compounding to ensure that all pharmaceuticals are of appropriate quality. A Chemical Sources Form, suitable for photocopying and using in the pharmacy, is also provided.
