Abstract

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is one of the most common reasons children are referred to psychiatrists. This discussion covers the incidence of this disorder, causes, treatment, dosages and comments by compounding pharmacists who treat these patients, Sidebars present an interview with a prescribing physician and the story of one child with this disorder and his experience with treatment.
