Abstract:  Despite the deep assortment of finished pharmaceutical products and the reduction in the number of compounding and hospital pharmacies in the Republic of Tajikistan, the need for extemporal medicinal products is still preserved and remains relevant. This article discusses the practice of compounding in the Republic of Tajikistan. History, laws, limits, regulatory institutions, protocols for compounding pharmacy set up, challenges, equipment, extemporaneous formulations, quality control, and storage within regulatory framework are discussed.
