Abstract:  The author profiles the Marvin Samson Center for the History of Pharmacy, established in 1996. The museum has more than 16,000 artifacts, ranging from very early pharmacy history through the 20th century. The author concludes that this museum has benefited from the collections, contributions and enthusiasms of a number of alumni, resulting in a museum of far greater depth than one that contains just a series of old school relics. He provides information as to location, telephone, hours open and admission.
