Abstract: Independent pharmacies were highly ranked by consumers in a national survey evaluating customer satisfaction with retail pharmacies. Published by CaeData Reports, a health-care consumer research company based in White Plains, NY, the 1999 CareData Retail Pharmacy Customer Survey queried 20,066 pharmacy customers on 225 issues. A table provides results showing that independent pharmacies were highly ranked in terms of satisfaction with pharmacy attributes. A listing of other reports that can be purchased from CareData is also provided, along with contact information for the company.
