Abstract: The author discusses the etiology of osteoarthritis, risk factors, prevention and nutritional treatment (boron, zinc/manganese/copper, niacinamide and zinaxin). He concludes that individual patients require individualized care, so more than one supplement or method may be needed. Beneficial outcomes can be realized while keeping toxicity and side effects virtually nonexistent.
