Abstract:  Marketing consists of many business activities that direct the flow of goods and services from producer to user or patient. In this first article of a three-part series, the authors discuss marketing strategy, services marketing vs. product marketing and using the seven Ps of service marketing in a practice. They then discuss the first two P factors, products and place (pharmacy location).
