Abstract:  It is necessary to educate about the true definition of natural hormone replacement therapy. Consumers must be informed about taking charge of their health because some products are misrepresented. A quick-reference guide to hormone replacement therapies, with generic and brand names, route of administration, strength, source of active ingredients, dosing, availability of a generic, bioidentical status and status of approval with the US Food and Drug Administration, is provided.
