Abstract

In this article, the problem of terrorist attacks, the history of such attacks, the terminology of terrorism, its causes and the pharmacist’s potential involvement in combating the effects of such attacks are covered. The author concludes that the threat of terrorist attack appears to be increasing. Adequate preparation now can have positive results if a future terrorist attack occurs.
